JetBlue announced earlier this week an increase of its service to Jamaica. And we don’t mean Jamaica, Queens. JetBlue has applied to add two new Montego Bay routes, to both Boston and Orlando. The airline will also add service on its existing route from New York-JFK to Montego Bay to eleven flights weekly, and will commence service to Kingston, Jamaica on October 30th. If approved, the Boston service would be Saturday only, beginning January 9th. The Orlando service would be daily, beginning February 8th.

Elsewhere, JetBlue announced today an expansion of its presence at San Francisco International Airport. Beginning in January, they will add two nonstops daily to Long Beach, for a total of five, a second daily nonstop to Boston, and a second daily nonstop to New York. Previously announced Ft. Lauderdale service will begin November 17th. This will bring a total of eleven daily JetBlue flights to the airport.
