We’ve been on a trip out to Northern California the last few days, which you may have noticed if you follow our Twitter account. We’ll have more on some new observations of JetBlue later. We have another trip cross-country planned for August, and we’re going to try to take anyone but JetBlue. We’re thinking Virgin America, for the experience, as we’ve never been on them, but we’ll see what is available.

We returned to discover the Cranky Flier was celebrating his 1000th post. Congratulations to him. We’re obviously big fans of his work, and hope to attract as much interest as him someday. To do so, however, we have to be more prolific. Like him, blogging doesn’t exactly pay the bills and we do have day jobs. So, here is our thought.

  • This is post #876 on Flight Wisdom Blog
  • The Cranky Flier launched on August 15, 2006
  • Flight Wisdom Blog launched on July 29th, 2006. Here is our first post. We like to think we’ve improved immensely.
  • Our spinoff blog, Infrequent Flier, has only 19 posts in just under two years.

Can we get to 1000 posts in just over 30 Days? Maybe…maybe not, but we have gone through a great change over the last few years. We have many goals we still want to achieve with this blog. The next month will be a month of change, of new posts, new ideas, different types of topics for us to ruminate on, and a hopeful emptying of our file of interesting stories. We will also be revisiting some of our old stories with new material. We may do some redesigning on the site. Anything could happen.

So join us. Comments welcome. (1 down, 105 if you include Infrequent Flier, to go).
