News from Jetblue that Doesn’t Involve a Service Meltdown
- A Jetblue plane departing West Palm Beach for JFK returned to Palm Beach International after a piece of its engine cover fell off. Flight 830 took off around 6AM, and the pilot felt the plane vibrate and requested a return to the airport. Jetblue procedures require the pilot to return to the airport if he or she feels any unusual vibration or sees an indicator light on the instrument panel. The plane has been grounded pending an investigation. Each customer will be receiving a voucher equal to the cost of the round-trip for the inconvenience. Three passengers opted not to fly at all and received a full refund.
- Jetblue inaugurated its codeshare agreement with Cape Air today, allowing passengers to travel on a single itinerary with baggage transfer to and from Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, Provincetown, and Hyannis from any connecting point on the Jetblue network through Logan Airport in Boston.

Flight 411 from Boston to SAN December 8 ,2007 3 hours late. We had to flew back to logan with aircraft issue A320.
The pilot could not tell aircraft speed. The pilot claimed there was no danager. We had to make a emc landing at the same airport we took off an hour later at boston. I felt little scared because we had fire trucks coming after the plane. I do not travel much and this is my first time being scared of my safety with Jet Blue. I will never fly with Jet blue again since they put me and 35 passengers in danager. When they knew the aircraft had issues. We had a 3 hour delay. Also, had to drive from SAN to Newport beach Marriotts Newport Coast Villas at 2:30am. Also rent a car from Hertz at SAN that had low oil in it. The sales rental agent claim car is perfect no issues. It seems no one at the SAN airport and the Boston airport does not care about public safety. I will stay home since companies like Jet Blue and Hertz think that 35 American passengers not important. I would fly southwest instead since there are at SeaWorld. Go Southwest go go.
