Cranky Flier Shoots A380 Video
For those of you who want to feel like you were there…which alas we here at Flight Wisdom could not be….The Cranky Flier was present for the arrival of the LAX A380 earlier today.
Click here to catch a look at his report…
“It’s definitely not the best looking plane around, but man is it big…The plane was surprisingly quiet, but it’s size was incredible. It’s probably tough to get that feeling from the video, but when you’re right underneath it, it’s pretty cool.”
We’ll be keeping an eye on his site, as he is set to attend a VIP event for the 380 this evening…hopefully with more images.

The A380 is a great plane! Unfortunately after having been a c-class passenger SQ (first to fly it) got it all wrong. Row 11 upstairs is the worst row in the house with no windows on either side! One feels like being in a phone booths w/o windows! The overhead bins and side bins are similar to upper deck 747 and cannot even accomodate a simple road warriors roll-away! The color match and interior of SQ A 380 is old fashioned and enhances the notion that SQ did not want to have a cutting-edge product as they obviously did not think it through what a great palne the A380 could be! I will not fly it again until I’ve seen Virgin’s version. They will get it right for sure.
